Tekken 3 is not only one of the best fighting games ever released, but it’s one of the best-selling games for the PS1 with 8.5 million copies sold worldwide. Those are some serious Street Fighter II numbers right there!
As such, one might imagine the hype around Tekken 4 would be astronomical. The game was, after all, the first new Tekken entry for the PS2 and the first brand new Tekken game in four years. Surely fighting game fans in the early 2000s were excited for this?…
